INFORMATION: Water level of rivers in Armenia as of 08:00 a.m. on May 27
As of 08:00 a.m. on May 27, 2024, a decrease in water levels was observed in the basins of the Debed and Aghstev rivers, compared to the water levels observed at 08:00 a.m. on May 26, 2024. By 105 cm at Ayrum observation point in the Debed River, by 70 cm in the Dzoraget River, by 50 cm in the Pambak River, by 57 cm in the Tashir River.

An operational headquarters was established to manage the emergency caused by the floods
As a result of torrential rains in Lori and Tavush provinces, Yerevan, as well as the overflowing of the Debed, Aghstev, Tashir rivers, in order to manage the emergency caused by the floods, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan decided to form an operational headquarters under the leadership of Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures. Aram Meimaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment is a member of the interdepartmental working group.

INFORMATION on the reservoirs fullness in the RA
As of May 26, 2024, the amount of water fullness in 5 reservoirs monitored by "Armhydromet" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment is:
- In Akhuryan reservoir: 80%,
- In Arpilich reservoir: 88%,
- In Aparan reservoir: 52%,
- In Azat reservoir: 90%,
- In Marmarik reservoir: 97%.

INFORMATION: Water level of rivers in Armenia as of 08:00 p.m.
The "Armhydromet" SNCO of the Ministry of Environment of the RA informs that as of 08:00 p.m., a decrease in the water level was observed compared to the level observed at 8:00 a.m.: by 80 cm in Debed river basin (water discharge 386 m3/s), by 50 cm in the Dzoraget River, by 30 cm in the Pambak River, by 31 cm in the Tashir River.
