Working Meeting with the Delegation of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)

Environmental Cooperation Between Armenia and Tajikistan Deepens
Within the framework of the high-level international conference on glacier preservation, held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, Ara Mkrtchyan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA, held an official meeting with Bahodur Sheralizoda, Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the significance of the environmental partnership established between Armenia and Tajikistan.

A high-level international conference on glacier preservation took place in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, from May 29 to 31. The event brought together regional and international stakeholders to address the urgent need for glacier preservation in the context of climate change.

An Interdepartmental Working Group Meeting Was Held
A joint meeting of the permanent interdepartmental working groups on climate change mitigation and adaptation, financing, and country accountability under the Convention was held by the Interdepartmental Coordination Council responsible for implementing the requirements of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and Paris Agreement.
