Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at environmentally safe management of hazardous chemicals and waste in Armenia
Aiming to contribute to the implementation of relevant projects and measures aimed at the conservation, improvement and restoration of the environment and wanting to reduce the negative impact of hazardous waste on human health and the environment, the Ministry of Environment, represented by Secretary General Sergo Atanesyan and "VEGA WORLD" LLC in the presence of the chief manager Yuri Afrikyan, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.

173 illegal crayfish traps and 19 fishing nets were removed from Lake Sevan
As a result of prevention and control measures carried out by the employees of "Sevan" National Park site of the Eco-patrol service of the Ministry of Environment, 173 illegal crayfish traps and 19 fishing nets were removed from the lake in the coastal area adjacent to Sevan settlement.
