White Storks and Humans – resolution of the conflicts
The Ministry of Environment regularly receives various complains from various actors from local inhabitants to cell-phone companies. People and companies face the same issue: the White Storks are breeding on their premises and impedes proper operation of the water-drainage system on the roofs or antenna system of the cell-phone company and so on.

Warning of illegal cutting of trees in “Dilijan” national park
On April 17, 2021, the Ministry of Environment sent a relevent letter to the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources based on the photos – with reference to illegal cutting of trees in the area of “Dilijan” national park - posted on the Facebook page of "Environmentalist's House" public initiative.

At the personal invitation of U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry, Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan participated in a ministerial roundtable. The event preceded the Global Leadership Summit on April 22, initiated by U.S. President Joe Biden as a sign of the new US Administration's readiness to join the global fight against climate change.
