Hakob Simidyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, Presented the Report on the Results of the Ministry's 2024 State Budget Implementation
The approved 2024 budget for the Ministry of Environment’s main program, covering 32 measures, was approximately 9.8 billion drams. The revised budget increased to 11.1 billion drams, reflecting the inclusion of grant programs totaling about 1.4 billion drams. Actual expenditures from the Republic of Armenia’s state budget allocations (excluding international grant programs) amounted to 8.8 billion drams, representing 90.9% of the allocated funds.

Ararat Mirzoyan, Armenian Foreign Minister Signed the Agreement on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biodiversity in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction, Adopted Under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea
Within the framework of the third UN Ocean Conference, Ararat Mirzoyan, Foreign Minister of Armenia, on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, signed the Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas beyond National Jurisdiction.

Armenia Presented Its Water And Climate Challenges at the Bled Conference
A high-level conference entitled “The Grey Zone of Water” was held in Bled, Slovenia, focusing on global water security challenges. Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Anton Mežan, Mayor of Bled, Marko Gajić, Co-Founder of the World Water Forum, as well as representatives from various countries and international environmental experts participated in the event.
