A hydrometeorology laboratory was inaugurated as part of a cooperation between the “Zvartnots” Aerometeorological Center CJSC of the Ministry of Environment of the RA and the Faculty of Geography and Geology of Yerevan State University (YSU).
The official opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Environment of the RA Hambardzum Matevosyan; Deputy Ministers Aram Meymaryan and Vahe Davtyan; ministry representatives; YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan; Director of the “Zvartnots” Aerometeorological Center CJSC Tatul Hayrapetyan; lecturers; students; and members of the private sector.
Prior to the event, Minister Matevosyan, accompanied by Rector Hovhannisyan, toured the Faculty of Geography and Geology, where modern educational facilities have been established, classrooms and laboratories renovated, and new technological solutions introduced.
