Summarizing “Support Program for Protected Areas-Armenia” (SPPA-A) project of the Ministry of Environment
ARK Ecological NGO, which won the grant within the framework of the 3-rd stage of the SPPA-A Small Grants Component (SGC), had implemented “Tatev-Khustup Sustainable Development Trail” project, the main goal of which was to raise the level of environmental awareness in Kapan community, to develop an environmental mindset through non-formal education in the infrastructures established along Tatev-Khustup eco-tourism trail.

Agreements of 1 million 920 thousand Euros for the implementation of three-year works
The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF), the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia, 4 SNCOs under the subordination of the MoE, have signed the CNF-funded three-year support agreements, according to which the total amount of financial assistance is 1 million 920 thousand Euros.

The first International Day of Forests was marked on March 21, 2013. It was proclaimed on December 21, 2012, by the decree of the United Nations General Assembly.
