Within the framework of COP30 in Brazil, Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, met with Madan Prasad Pariyar, Expert in Climate and Agriculture from Nepal.
During the meeting, they discussed the activities of the High-Ambition Coalition for Landlocked States and explored opportunities for its expansion. They also examined avenues for deepening cooperation among other countries participating in COP30, particularly in the areas of addressing climate challenges, promoting sustainable agricultural development, and harmonizing environmental policies.
A wide range of topics related to the effective organization and agenda-setting of the #COP17, planned to be hosted in Armenia, were also reviewed.
Minister Matevosyan invited the partners to Armenia to continue bilateral discussions and advance planned cooperation to a practical level. Both parties agreed to maintain ongoing cooperation aimed at developing common positions on the international environmental agenda.
