Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Environment of the RA, will participate in the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress, to be held in Abu Dhabi from October 9 to 15. The Congress, titled “Powering Transformative Conservation,” is recognized as the world’s leading forum on environmental conservation and sustainable development. It seeks to promote international and regional cooperation, foster innovative solutions to environmental challenges, and strengthen global efforts toward sustainability. The event will serve as a unique platform for sharing experiences, presenting best practices, and shaping future strategies for nature conservation. More than 1,400 governmental, civil society, and non-governmental organizations from around the world will discuss and vote on key environmental issues, promoting the vision of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. This global conference represents a pivotal opportunity to accelerate international commitments toward a sustainable and green future.
