The second round of the series of "Let's talk about nature" environmental meetings has been concluded

Today, Deputy Minister of Environment Tigran Gabrielyan and representatives of the Ministry's professional units participated in the concluding meeting of the series of environmental meetings "Let's talk about nature" in the "Vardanak" educational complex.
On March 2, 2015, the second round of the "Let's talk about nature" environmental meeting series was launched within the framework of the "Strengthening the Institutional System and Capacity Building" program jointly implemented by the Ministry of Environment and UNODC, which was attended by about 100 students. , from A. Hovhannisyan primary school No. 194, A. Pushkin primary school No. 8, N. Zaryan primary school No. 130 and "Vardanak" educational complex.
The aim of the initiative is to familiarize the young generation with various environmental directions, providing an opportunity to become aware of current problems and why not to become a participant in their possible solutions.
Welcoming the students and participants of the meeting, the deputy minister once again highlighted the importance of the implementation of such initiatives, describing them as cornerstones in ecological education and upbringing.
"In order to make significant progress in the fields of environmental management, protection and protection and to involve high-level specialists in the process of solving existing multi-layered problems, it is very important to improve the environment of ecological education in our republic and increase the level of eco-education of the society," Tigran Gabrielyan said, referring to the issue of professional orientation.
The deputy minister expressed hope that such meetings will give the desired result, and we will have law-conscious and environmentally friendly citizens.
During the meeting, school representatives presented their views and approaches on the problems of the sector and their solutions through reports and slides.
Through the question-and-answer session, the deputy minister, the representatives of the ministry and the national coordinator of ozone layer protection issues, Liana Ghahramanyan, answered the students' questions.
