On September 21, at 19:20, a fire broke out on the road from the village of Garni to the Khosrov Forest State Reserve.
Employees of the State Nature Reserve "Khosrov Forest" went to the scene of the incident: about 30 employees of district inspectors and special forces, five operational groups of regional rescue departments of the SS of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, four combat crews from fire and rescue squads and six groups from rescue squads of the center for special purpose rescue operations of the Rescue Forces Department. Volunteer detachments from the village of Garni also actively participated in the work to extinguish the fire.
The fire was localized on September 22 at 07: 00.31.
According to preliminary data, about 40 hectares of grass cover and shrubs were burned on the communal territory, and about 1-1. 5 hectares of grass cover and shrubs were burned on the Kakavaberd site of the Khosrov Forest State Reserve.
