One of the three red deer released into the wild was spotted the other day in the vicinity of Sipan and Tsilkar villages of Aragatsotn marz.
The deer is one of the individuals of the first group of Caucasian red deer released into Dilijan National Park by the Ministry of Environment and WWF-Armenia in October 2022.
It has taken its first steps into the wild and we need you to create a safe environment for the deer.
To ensure the safety of you and the deer, we ask and urge you to follow the safety rules below:
- Do not approach the deer or try to touch it. keep a safe distance
- Refrain from feeding the deer. it has its own natural food sources,
- Avoid loud noises or sudden movements to avoid scaring the deer.
- If you notice an animal while driving, be careful, reduce the speed to avoid accidents.
- Be aware of possible contact with deer in order to minimize the possibility of human-animal conflict.
