The annual average temperatures observed in RA indicate a continuous increase in air temperature

The annual average temperatures observed in RA in recent years confirm the predictions of climate models about the continuous increase in air temperature. Starting from 1994, the average annual temperature deviations in RA from 1961-1990. were positive with respect to the average value, except for 2011.
Although the average annual temperature in 2011 was 0.2 degrees lower than normal, but in 2011 43.7°C was recorded in Meghri on July 31, which is the absolute maximum temperature in Armenia for the entire observation period. it exceeded the previously observed figure by 0.7°C.
1935-2023 Four of the five warmest years during the period occurred in the last 14 years.
