MORE THAN 300,000 SMALL FISH OF TROUT WERE RELEASED BACK TO LAKE SEVAN
Acting Deputy Minister of Environment Vardan Melikyan followed the release activities of 62.500 small fish with the average weight of 3 grams of Gegarkunik trout and 240.000 small fish weighing 1,75 grams, which were once again implemented by “Foundation for Restoration of Sevan Trout Stocks and Development for Aquaculture”.

On July 17, 2020, it is envisaged to release around 62,000 small fish of Sevan trout (gegharkunik species) weighing 3 grams to Lake Sevan.
The release of small fish will be supervised in the middle and lower streams of Karchaghbyur and Masrik Rivers flowing into the lake.

In separate places hail is also predicted. On July 19-20 no precipitation is predicted. South-west wind speed is 3-8 m/s. On July 18-20 the air temperature will gradually go up by 5-7 degrees.

On July 15-20 no precipitation is predicted.
